DISCIPLINE POLICY

If a child has demonstrated unacceptable behavior and does not respond favorably to the DCA staff or instructor, it may be necessary for the child to be removed from the situation, in which case a member of the DCA staff will contact the parents/caregivers for an early pick-up.

PARTICIPATION AGREEMENT

By enrolling my child in the program offered by the Darien Community Association, I grant permission for my child to participate in all of the indoor and outdoor activities of the program. I understand the Darien Community Association does not have a registered nurse on site and that staff will not administer any medication. I grant permission for the Darien Community Association staff to take whatever steps necessary to obtain medical care for my child, if warranted. These steps include: (1) Administering First Aid, (2) Contacting parent/guardian or emergency contact, (3) If necessary, an ambulance will be called to transport the child to an emergency medical center. I will be responsible for all medical fees. I have reviewed and understand the Darien Community Association’s participation policy.
