Book Social with Author Fiona Davis

The DCA & Barrett Bookstore invite you to cocktails and conversation with New York Times Best Selling Author, Fiona Davis who will discuss her latest novel, The Stolen Queen, centered on the Metropolitan Museum of Art and its famed Met Gala while, for the first time, exploring a territory beyond New York City—Egypt’s Valley of the Kings. The evening will begin with a reception at 6:30pm, followed by a Q&A with Fiona moderated by local author Wendy Walker at 7:00pm. Your ticket includes light refreshments and a signed hard copy of The Stolen Queen.  Additional copies of the book will be available for purchase at the event. 

 

Fiona Davis is the New York Times bestselling author of eight historical fiction novels set in iconic New York City buildings, including The Stolen Queen, The Magnolia Palace, The Address, and The Lions of Fifth Avenue, which was a Good Morning America book club pick. Her articles have appeared in publications like The Wall Street Journal and the Oprah magazine.

She first came to New York as an actress, but fell in love with writing after getting a master's degree at Columbia Journalism School. Her books have been translated into over twenty languages and she's based in New York City.

About Wendy Walker

Wendy Walker is the internationally bestselling author of multiple psychological thrillers, including What Remains and Blade, coming in January of 2026. She has sold rights to her books in twenty-three languages as well as film and television options. Wendy also writes original pieces for Audible, including American Girl and Mad Love and The Room Next Door, coming this fall. Prior to her writing career, Wendy trained for competitive figure skating, worked as a financial analyst at Goldman, Sachs & Co. and practiced both corporate and family law. Wendy lives in Stamford where she raised three sons and now enjoys spending time with a wide network of authors around the world.
